Bistro 350 Hosts 26th Annual Election Day Luncheon
California Culinary Academy Restaurant Serves Up Lunch and Politics in November

SAN FRANCISCO, CA, November 7, 2006. California Culinary Academy co-hosted the 26th annual Election Day luncheon on, November 7th, 2006 at California Culinary Academy’s Bistro 350 with attorney Robert McCarthy. Several prominent figures attended the luncheon, including Senator Dianne Feinstein, Senator Barbara Boxer, Mayor Gavin Newsom, Assemblyman Mark Leno, and former Mayor Willie Brown.

California Culinary Academy President, Eeva Deshon, greeted the 200-plus guests that attended the luncheon. Many supporters came hungry - not only for political discussion, but also for the beautifully presented banquet of plated items such as smoked trout mousse on brioche, roasted filet of beef with wild mushroom sauce, and a variety of desserts from raspberry tartelettes to chocolate hazelnut terrines. The luncheon menu was prepared by French Master Chef Patrick Farjas, a Chef Instructor for California Culinary Academy’s Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts Program.

Bistro 350, the newest restaurant addition to California Culinary Academy, provided the perfect backdrop for the prestigious event. Supervised by Chef instructors and operated by students completing their Le Cordon Bleu curriculum training, the charming bistro provides patrons with a spectacular dining experience by blending classic French techniques with four-point service.

Bistro 350 is located at 350 Rhode Island in Potrero Hill. Hours of operation are from Tuesday to Friday 11:30am – 1:00pm. For more menu or restaurant information, please call (415)216-4326.
